You're In My Heart is an album by musician, record producer and singer-songwriter Sir Roderick David Stewart, CBE along with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra released by Rhino Records and Warner Records. The album features Rod Stewart's "classic vocal tracks" accompanied by new arrangements by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. The album also contains new versions of the hit songs "Maggie May", "It Takes Two" featuring Robbie Williams and the new song "Stop Loving Her Today". The result is a timeless record that retains the power, soul and passion that have fueled Stewart’s legacy from the start. Celebrating 50 years as a solo artist, the legendary musician is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, with more than 250 million records sold worldwide.
Rod is featured here courtesy of The Royal Philharmornic Orchestra (RPO) based in London. Formed by Sir Thomas Beecham, the story of the (RPO) is colourful and dramatic with a reputation worldwide for guaranteeing music-making of the highest quality and order. In 2004, the orchestra acquired its first permanent London base, at the new Cadogan Hall in Chelsea and since it's inception in 1946, the RPO has been active in the recording studios, making film soundtracks and numerous gramophone recordings. The RPO’s commitment to working with the finest conductors continues and announced Vasily Petrenko as the Orchestra’s new Music Director, assuming the title of Music Director Designate in August 2020 prior to commencing the full role in August 2021.
