I have passionately followed the lost art of traditional jewelery by setting up my own company in 1994. I design jewelery in gold, platinum, diamonds and precious stones. Coscientally rooted in the spirit of artisans of the old world, I envision and create my jewels through ancient equipment and techniques.
The art of jewelry creation dates back thousands of years when ancient civilizations created jewels for personal ornamentation. Created to show precious stones, express faith and indicate the social status, craftsmen made jewels that ranged from shells to hemp ropes to hair and crowns worn by kings. Over the centuries, the search for new gems, precious metals and ornamental materials combined with the advancement of instruments and metallurgy has made it possible for almost all luxury goods.
I primarily manufacture my jewelry with wax sculpture. Using the ancient waste-worn process, the patterns are sculpted and embedded in plaster and then burnt with plaster to create an impression. The precious metal is fused by the torch and thrown into the cavity with a manual charging centrifuge. Through abrasives and grinding tools, I finish the resulting jets to prepare them for welding.

Atypical, elegant objects that tell a story, have always been a consistent passion of mine. Things that people value and that withstand time, that are passed on to be sherished and adored. This conviction is at the heart of what I love most about Jewellery: Composing a final, unique piece of art for someone to cherish eternaly or as a means to keep their loved ones intimately close to them forever.
Each and every piece I produce is manufactured by hand and thus no two are the same or will ever be alike. You can be assured that there is nobody else with your exact piece regardless of whether you purchased it online, through one of our stockists, or whether it is a bespoke piece. I work exclusively with certified diamonds (Gemological Institute of America (GIA), The Kimberley Process Certification Scheme), gold (usually yellow in either 14, 18 or 19 carat), sustaianable and ethically sourced rubies and sapphires. I'm very proud and happy to disclose that behind the verifiable jewelry supply chain that I am a part of, there is always endless verification regarding sustainability, ethics, transparency and Kelty Peletchytik Fine Jewelry ensures that these sources are obligated to only the best practices. We have all pledged to do our best in treating our precious planet, its resouces and inhabitants with respect and care.
After studying stone setting in New York, I moved out of the city and began investing in initial materials and resources. Having trained and worked in a variety of fields, from an art dealearship and gallery, to the restoration of antique picture frames in Europe, I planned on investing in each one of my pieces with an appreciation for imperishable, fine personal craft. My guiding principle is to make the kind of objects I would be drawn to if I saw them: works that are clearly handmade, not necessarily flawless, but which evoke particular feelings and express an individual personality. I want my pieces to be subtle and durable enough to wear daily but meaningful enough to pass down to your loved ones and family members as priceless, special occasion heirloom gifts. 2020 is a very exciting year for me. I’ve acquired some very rare portrait diamonds — a cut so clear the diamond appears like a sheet of glass, and so rare I was on a wait list for nearly a year to buy them — with which I’ll be making a modern take on Georgian-era lover’s eye jewellery.
The monetary collectible value of jewellery as an investment is partly influenced by underlying movements in the diamond, gold and gemstone markets but certified, ultra-high quality jewellery such as ours, is almost usually worth considerably much more than the sum of it's initial components and current market value over an extended period of time. It's definitely worth sincerely considering one of our bespoke, one of a kind (OOAK) designs as your very next aquisition and it would be my greatest delight to personally work with you and make myself available to you during the entire process and after.
